WGHS bestows its awards

WATKINS GLEN, May 31 -- Dozens of Watkins Glen High School students received awards and scholarships Thursday at the annual Awards Assembly in the school auditorium.

Students running for Student Council offices gave their election speeches to start off the ceremony. Speeches were given by:
--Caitlin Connelly and Mikayla Elliott for Treasurer
--Tamijah Lawton-Stone and Justine Hulbert for Secretary
--Rachael Miller for Vice President
--Natasha Patel for President
