McCarthy, Chaffee are IAC All-Stars

WATKINS GLEN, May 30 -- The Watkins Glen softball pitching-catching combination of Taylor McCarthy and Taylor Chaffee have been named IAC Large School South Division First Team All-Stars by division coaches.

The Senecas' Jessica Stansfield (first base), Kirsten Burge (shortstop) and Sarahjane McPherson (third base) earned Honorable Mention status.

Odessa-Montour's pitchingf-catching combo of Jessica Niedermaier and Taylor Thoman earned Honorable Mentions.

Interscholastic Athletic Conference Softball All-Stars

Large School South Division:

First team: Olivia May, Sydney Dimon, Marianne Thomaris and Taylor Drake (Elmira Notre Dame); Sam Darpino, Nicole Watson, Katie Fontana and Taylor Tobey (Newark Valley); Taylor Chaffee and Taylor McCarthy (Watkins Glen); Sam Babcock and Jaci Wolcott (Waverly).
