Picnic celebrates O-M Arts

ODESSA, June 8 -- Music, food and art marked the annual Great American Picnic and Fine Arts Awards Night Tuesday evening in the Odessa-Montour courtyard.

Music by the Middle School and High School bands provided entertainment for diners partaking of a picnic buffet and soaking in the bright sunlight beaming down.

Student art was on display inside the building, in the hallways fronting the high school's Fetter-Brown Auditorium. One of the auditorium namesakes, Dr. Frank Brown, was directing the Middle School Band outside. The High School Band was directed by Clarice Miles.

After the dinners had been devoured, the music ended and awards were presented for Fine Arts achievements by students throughout the year. Those are as follows:
