Starry, starry Prom Night

MONTOUR FALLS , May 2 -- The energy level was high, the music driving, the gowns beautiful and the tuxedos sharp as students from Odessa-Montour High School held their annual Prom Night at the Montour Moose Lodge Saturday night.

The motif -- the design on the walls and in the vestibule as students entered -- was one of stars, as though this was an event under the stars.

The photos here were snapped in a short period during the long evening -- an evening that was a culmination of the whole prom process -- the fittings, the indecision (which gown?), the corsages, the limos, the dinners, and then the excitement of the dance itself. It can be a bit expensive, but oh ... the memories.
