AURORA, March 4 -- The Odessa-Montour girls varsity basketball team won its Section IV, Class C semifinal Wednesday night at Southern Cayuga, 44-41.

The Indians, down eight points in the first half, overtook SC's Lady Chiefs in the third quarter and held them off down the stretch.

The victory moved the 16-5 Indians into the Class C final on Saturday, March 6 at the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena against top-seeded Tioga -- a team that defeated Odessa by a single point the last time they met.
